We are delighted to announce that over 1300 volunteers have registered with the Centre so far this year. This is a 38% increase from this time last year and means that we have a total of over 3000 volunteers registered with the Centre since we began in 2005.
Overwhelmingly people are telling us the reason they want to volunteer is to make a difference and give something back to their community. This is a sign that community spirit is alive and well in these difficult times.
