Calling Volunteer Journalists!
Be a Relay Reporter for the European Year of Volunteering
Pau Education, the organisation which has been designated by the European Commission to run the communication campaign in the framework of the European Year of Volunteering 2011, has launched a call for 27 “Relay Reporters“ in view of the year.
One journalist in each of the 27 EU member states will be invited to participate in the production of stories about the European Year of Volunteering throughout 2011. This unique opportunity will include 10 days shooting in one EU country with a professional camera, and a whole-year web-reporting from the Relay Reporter’s country, with a pocket video camera.
Please note that participants are expected to:
1) to speak and write English
2) have technical skills in video
3) be available to travel in Europe for 15 days in 2011. The expenses related to the 15 days in another country are fully covered.
Participation deadline: August 9, 2010, midnight.
